The exhibition in Shanghai is full of imagination

Leaping to the future and exploring the vastness of nature, Donghua University teachers and students weave a green and sustainable future of aesthetic education with a single yarn. Recently, the art exhibition "The Future Land of One Yarn Weaving" opened in APSMUSEUM.
The exhibition works are presented in different forms such as inventory and waste yarn through knitted and knitted murals, space devices, etc. The "future place of one yarn knitting" takes different scenes in spring, summer, autumn and winter as the coordinate axis in time scale, and expresses the immersive changes of the four seasons and natural creatures in the future world with the creation method of knitting and knitting. The line of vision of creation always hovers between the micro world and the vast universe, which is infinitely large upward and infinitely small downward. The natural things under the time scale have no starting point and no ending point. Xu Yanhui, the tutor of Shanghai International Fashion Creative College of Donghua University, and the student creative team take the thousands of texture changes of yarn as the creative carrier to explore the future of weaving unlimited imagination with a single yarn.
"Our students are fully involved in this exhibition. For students, this is not only an aesthetic education, but also a way to let them know that the use of fiber art can make waste yarn have new vitality." Li Jun, dean of the Shanghai International Fashion Creative College of Donghua University, said in introducing the exhibition.
This exhibition is also a beneficial attempt to break the circle of industry university research interaction of Donghua University. Through the cooperation between libraries and schools, we will break the barriers between campus and art space, provide high-quality art resources and learning channels for teachers and students, build a high-quality aesthetic education platform, and cultivate high-quality talents with aesthetic cultivation and aesthetic ability.
It is reported that the exhibition of "The Future Land of One Yarn Weaving" is co sponsored by Xinzhifeng Art Institute and Lujiazui Center L+Mall. It is mainly created by Xu Yanhui, the designer, and is organized by Donghua University - Corzine Group Fashion Knitting Research and Development Center. As supporting units, Donghua University and Corzine Group will continue until February 28, 2023. Forum activities will be held later.
