Sirospun, also known as parallel twist spinning, is called A, B yarn in China, and officially named Sirospun. Siro spinning is to feed two rovings with a certain distance on the spinning frame, and after drafting, the two single yarn whiskers are output from the front roller. Due to the transfer of twist, the single yarn whiskers have a small amount of twist. After splicing, they are further twisted into a yarn similar to the plied yarn, which is wound on the bobbin.
The initial design of siro spinning is intended for wool spinning, which is characterized by less hairiness, high strength, and good wear resistance, so as to achieve the effect that wool yarn can be woven with single yarn, and realize the lightness and thinness of wool fabric. Although siro spinning has made great improvement in many aspects compared with conventional yarns of the same kind, there is still a certain distance to truly achieve single wool yarn weaving without sizing.
